NYE

Jewelled Chiffon Gown: Mango, Crystal-embellished Suede Pumps: Valentino
Ombre Fringe Crop To: Urban Outfitters, Premium Pearl Lace Rose Shoes: Topshop, Metallic Tube Skirt: Topshop

Yes, I am already planning my New Year's Eve outfit, which girl isn't?! I went shopping yesterday and through a hard battle, found a fringed Sparkle & Fade crop top that I could dress up or down, depending where I end up that evening! Whilst shopping, I also dreamt up my fantasy New Years outfit, if I was richer and in a more sophisticated circle of friends (love you guys!) I would wear this beautiful chiffon gown from Mango!

Inspiration

So this is my 3rd week or something ridiculous like that, being unemployed again. I am going completely insane, and whilst I'd love to use all this free time into the blog, I have no working camera or anyone to take the actual pictures as everyone's working/in university (selfish people..ha!) Maybe I just need to save up better and get my own DSLR! I've been meaning to for a while, got my eye on the beaut Canon 550D. Tomorrow I shall be meeting a friend who takes great photos, so hopefully will update with an outfit post tomorrow. For now, here is a few saved photos from around the glorious interweb, showing my current obsessions  leather, lace and denim! I might be brave and don denim on denim tomorrow! I for one think its incredibly awesome if done right, but done wrong and we're back to THAT Britney and Justin moment.

My Favourite Make Up

I'm sorry there has been a gap in outfit posts, Sams always at work whilst I'm still in bed, so we never have time during the week to take photos! And as the sun goes down so quickly now, its always too dark around 4-5pm! I might try some self timer shots tomorrow and see how they come out! For now, I took a few photos of my favourite bits of make up that I use on a regular basis.

Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer, Estee Lauder Double Wear, No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder

-I only use the heavy full coverage foundation by Estee Lauder on nights out, and ONLY if my skin is already fresh beforehand, as I've found it looks really cakey when my skin is especially dry. The primer does help make the foundation stay on longer, but the other effects aren't visible to me but I guess I'm not a make up buff so I wouldn't know! The loose powder is okay, I think I'd prefer one that gives a little more coverage but I guess this isn't for coverage, its just for a nicer 'finish'. Most days I tend to use no.7 'Beautiful Skin BB Cream' which works great for my very dry skin, and means I look more natural.
Burberry Lip Glow, Estee Lauder Lipstick, Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick, Estee Lauder Pure Color High Gloss

-The Burberry 'Tea Rose' lip-gloss smells really nice and the shade is pretty, but I hardly every wear lip-gloss so its a bit of a shame. The Givenchy lipstick from about 3 years ago is still a firm favourite of mine, the bright pink colour is really stunning and I love the branding. My two new Estee Lauder products are being used nearly every day, the lipstick is actually a lot lighter than the image, its 'Boise de Rose' and on top I put on the 'Berry Lush'. I also use my Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolour in 'Strength' quite often, I find it stays on for ages and is a flattering shade of red.
Dior 5 Couleurs, Revlon Matte Blush, Eylure Brow Palette

-The Dior eye-shadow set was quite pricey, and for something I have barely used I feel a bit guilty for buying, however it does have 5 colours that you can play around with and if you can put on eye-shadow (I seriously can't) then its well worth it. The Revlon 'Blushing Berry' is a classic I believe, and I prefer this matte finish to all the other glittery shimmery blushes. I never leave the house without filling in my eyebrows with the eylure 'Shape & Shade' palette, I much prefer the more natural effect from powder than the harsh pencils on eyebrows and the 2 colour options lets you blend till you get your right shade!
Topshop Lipstick 'Wicked'
-Lastly, my recent obsession is this Topshop lipstick in a dark redy, berry colour just so perfect for Autumn!

It's just a cigarette and I'm sorry that I did it

I do not wish to advertise smoking, or glamourise it...however in photos I do think they're really quite mesmerizing, It seems like its fashions and photographers favorite prop!

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these photos.

Style Idol: Miroslava Duma

Russian blogger and editor Miroslava is probably my number one crush right now. She is so tiny (like me!) but that doesn't stop her dressing in a way that's classic yet with some very daring and edgy choices. Not only that but her height and pretty haircut makes her incredibly cute, I honestly can never ever get sick of her. I chose a few of my favorite eclectic outfits, there's so many that I found it extremely hard to narrow down... but didn't want to end up spamming the blog! Any favorites of yours you want to share?

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these images. Just found on various sites, tumblr etc...

Portabello Market

On Saturday I took a trip to one of my favorite places in London...Portabello Road! Shame its been such a cloudy, rainy week here in London but that didn't stop me from browsing and taking a trip to the cinema, where I watched 'Rust and Bone' with Marion Cotillard (who gives an amazing performance as ever) The Electric Cinema is sadly still under construction but we went to The Gate cinema which was just as nice, cinemas designed to look like theatres are so much more aesthetically pleasing than the modern multiplex ones!
Anyway, for a style blog oddly I don't actually have an outfit to show...I was recovering from the Friday night so my look was as Sammy described, 'heroin chic' ...but Kate Moss I was not. Tomorrow however I promise to update with an actual outfit!! For now enjoy these beautiful pictures shot by lovely Sammy.

I especially love the reflection of the buildings inside the large bubble!
   Necklace: Boden
Don't you just love this mans face...you are what you sell? CHEEKY!
